Wet Flowers

With the terrible weather we have been experiencing these past two months I either take pictures in the rain or not at all. On the way home from my morning coffee run today I decided to stop at Meenan's Cove and see what I could photograph without getting too wet. These pictures are okay but just think how much better I could do if I had a Sigma 150 mm F2.8 macro lens. It's on my Santa wish list.

Paul,
I love your pictures of "Wet Flowers". I think that they're awesome!
Some of the best pictures taken are when nature has participated!

Hi Sue;

I love recording nature as it is. I will get a bit 'out there' from time to time, using montages and dreamscapes. I use certain effects, not to fool the viewer, but to present to a viewer what I envisioned when I clicked the shutter. Sometimes our cameras are limited in what they can record for us and need a bit of help.

Hi Paul,
I needed a pick me up with all of this wet weather. These pictures of the wet flowers put in perspective the kind of summer we are having to date.

Hi CEM:

Thanks for dropping by and posting your comment. I often wonder if my pictures convey the feelings I get from them. See you soon.
