Rockwood Park Horses

Rita and I were to Rockwood Park this past Saturday to take some pictures. It was windy and cold so we stopped and photographed the first animals we saw. Many of the horses we saw were sleeping.

Hey Paul, What a very nice surprise to see what you have done with the horses!!! The last one especially , his gaze of tranquility or mournful loneliness. A fantastic capture. Butch

Thanks Butch;

The horses were fun to photograph and I have a few more but these told the story pretty well. Walking around up there was downright dangerous because of the ice but we had a good time just the same. Rita missed a good shot when one of the horses stretched his head out through the gate and let me kiss his nose. Oh well, just as good because she would likely have added a caption to it and sent it to everyone…

Nice shots - I wonder if that is Kit and Dish pulling the wagon. We went for a ride on Sunday and the girls were pulling the sleigh. It was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Penny;

I never did the wagon ride thing but maybe that is something I can take the girls to some day. I bet they would enjoy it too.
